Hi,
The only way I could reproduce this issue is to have the syntax highligh of SQL Plus syntax set to white on white as attached image.

Since ‘a’ is in the list of sql plus syntax as below list that we build in sql navigator:

SQLPlusKeywords.Add(’@’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘ACC’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘ACCEPT’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘A’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘APPEND’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘ARCHIVE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘ATTR’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘ATTRIBUTE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘BRE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘BREAK’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘BTI’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘BTITLE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘C’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘CHANGE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘CL’);

SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘DEFINE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘DEL’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘DESC’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘DESCRIBE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘DISC’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘DISCONNECT’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘ED’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘EDIT’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘EXEC’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘EXECUTE’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘EXIT’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘GET’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘HELP’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘HO’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘HOST’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘I’);
SQLPlusKeywords.Add(‘INPUT’);

Hi,

Lyla has found the cause of this problem. It relates to the ‘Keyworks to Uppercase’. This issue only happens when the option is ON as attached.

Lyla is working the fix and it should be in the next drop for you.

Thanks and regards,
Bruce
