A new Toad DB2 Beta Installer is now available

The new Toad for DB2 Beta v6.1.0.136 installer is available. You can download the installer at:

There is a bug that just showed up in this version. When I compare data and the fields are of Big Decimal type, the compare fails. I can only do a compare if I omit these fields from the compare. I am quite sure that in the previous Beta version this did not happen.

I’ll try to mail support with a screenshot, if you so desire.

When you state ‘Big Decimal’, exactly what datatype (and length and precision) are you referring to? Can you post the DDL of the table definition?

Thanks.

I see now that even a decimal causes this bug. Here is the DDL

CREATE TABLE P8TADM.KTMD (

ID INTEGER NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT,

AUDIT_ID BIGINT NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT,

VERSION INTEGER NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT,

IS_ACTIVE SMALLINT NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT,

ID_NAME VARCHAR(50) FOR SBCS DATA WITH DEFAULT NULL,

ERECH DECIMAL(7, 4) NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT,

SUG VARCHAR(15) FOR SBCS DATA NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT,

TAARICH_MADAD DATE NOT NULL WITH DEFAULT

)

The error I get is:

the method or operation is not implemented.

Thanks for your information. I have recreated this problem and have created issue TDB-2108 to track this bug.
