I'm trying to connect to a Postgres database, but I get the following error:

"Access violation at address 00000000004148D5 in module 'TDM.exe'. Read of address 0000000000000018".

I'm using TDM 8.0 with SSL Mode = Prefer and CA File = a downloaded `global-bundle.pem`. Earlier, I got an error on missing `libeay32.dll` and `ssleay32.dll`, and was advised to download the `.pem` and use it for CA File.

I may be on the wrong track here, but an access violation is by definition a bug - right?

Hi Kai,

I haven't see that type error during Postgres connection. What version of Postgres are you trying to connect to?

It's version 18.

Hi, is there any progress on this?

Do I need to input all three SSL fields (CA File, CERT File and Key File)? From where do I get these files?

Is it incorrect to input the downloaded `global-bundle.pem` I was advised to?

By the way, is it correct that TDM is nearing end-of-life and one should transition to Erwin or QDM? In that case, it doesn't seem worth the effort to continue this issue.
