# Automation report export format

Hi!  
I am looking to automate a query and export a report.However the report seems to be exportable only in excel format. I need the files to be in txt format.Is it possible to do so?

When running reports manually ad-hoc, TXT is available as a report format.

Under the automation, it appears these are valid choices:

- PDF
- HTML
- RTF
- Web Archive (MHT)

I would submit an ER to enable all of the file formats the report engine supports, or you might find the RTF option doable for now?
