# Block Comment and Hints in TOAD 10.1

It appears TOAD 10.1 has an issue block comments that contain hints. Has anyone notice this? Sorry if this has been posted previously.

I don’t see any replies to your question so ignore if it’s been  
answered, but it looks like the behavior is very similar to what SQL_Plus does.  
SQL_Plus gives an error about your comment as does Toad, but SQL\*Plus looks like  
it’s giving the error based on a statement parse whereas Toad is sending  
the statement to Oracle. The real statement is executing correctly though.
