Bug in Schema Compare

#1

In the most recent build of TOAD if I do schema compare and then select to hide
certain items (for example items that only exist in the target database), I
would expect that the SQL for these should NOT be built. However I am noticing
the SQL is actually built. It also appears that even if I do not hide these
differences but manually select to not create the SQL for them, the SQL to drop
the items that exist in the target database but not the source still seems to
get created. This is a problem for me since we have multiple developers
working on a remote database and I can’t be dropping their work if I
deselect it in TOAD.

Hello Charles,
We’ve investigated your case. ST#74070. Unfortunately we can’t implement it in upcoming 5.0 release on so late stage. Will try to address it in the next release.

Thank you for your feedback.
