Like many ETL tools, do we have an option of creating a config file in toad data point while automating our scripts? I have been creating a table and using it is a config table or control table so far. Can we create a config file where we can define all the connection details and various other variables/parameters to be used in the automation script?
In Automation designer you can save any activity as a template and use it in the future as part of any other script. This way you can configure some custom functionality. To save activity as a template, right-click it and select Save As a Template. All templates are grouped in the Templates section at the bottom of Automation designer toolbox.
