# Custom DATEFILE in automation designer

I just tested this and it worked fine for me.

Here is my entire app

I have two connections defined

Here is the query iterator

Here is the script action. Note the output is set to "One file per script".

I have these script files in c:\temp

To run it, I right-click to run the app

Thanks, that works. My mistake was that I included the variables in the file list and this probably reset them.

I see the variables %QI.FNAME% and %QI.DB% in your file list. If those variables didn't return the full path to an existing file name, that would have caused your action to not run.
