# Display entity description as tooltip

Previous verisons (Case Studio) and I think TDM would display the entity description when you hovered over the entity and also any colunns within the table. This was a great feature, as now I must open the entity, select the column, and then select Description tab to see the information I have documented about for object.

I checked Options, but did not see anything that would enable this feature. The closest similar feature is the highlighting of PK/FK relationships when mouse is over the relationship line. Which is nice, but why did I lose the ability to display the description? Any other clean(er) ways to display this info from the model?

Hi Tom,

the function is there. It’s the Notes of both the Entity and Attribute which is displayed on mouse hovering over the entity heading or attribute. See the screenshot.
