# display of role based object grants in SB

Good morning, afternoon or evening, depending on where you are,

There seems to be a problem that I haven’t seen mentioned. Toad 10.1.1.8 w/  
DB Admin module

In our environment we have some roles that grant select on the tables in a  
particular schema. If these roles are granted directly to a user and made  
default then in the right hand side of the SB - Object Grants tab you can  
see the individual grants that the role confers to the user.

We also have a role that provides the basic access that all interactive  
users need. To that role we grant several of the viewer roles I mentioned  
above. In that case in the Role Grants tab I can see the Basic Access role  
and the underlying schema select roles. But in the Object Grants tab I  
don’t see anything.

In version 9.7.2.5 the grants are correctly displayed in the Object Grants  
tab. But either there’s new setting I missed or version 10.1.1.8 isn’t  
playing nice.
