I am using Toad Beta 5.5 and whenever I use the alter table dialog to remove a column from a table, Toad crashes and becomes unresponsive. Even removing the column and immediately clicking on the SQL tab, without clicking on OK, will cause Toad to crash.
Just tried on 2005 and 2008R2 – seems to work fine for me. Any additional
information? Any chance to get ExceptionTrace file?
I looked for the stack trace in the exceptions file and could not find one. The trace might not have been written, since Toad froze and I had to user Task Manager to close it. After a reboot, I was able to drop the tables, so something curious might have been going on, on my PC.
Can you please share with me your table script and changes you tried to apply?
