Error when running automation

#1

I am getting an error when trying to run an automation script. It is:

Could not find property or event ‘Scriptversion’ on type
‘Quest.Toad.Workflow.Activities.DefaulDescriptionActivity’

My entire set of modules do not appear at all. Please help.

Thanks,
Paul

Did you run the script in the 2.7 Beta? We added a script versioning attribute.
If that is the case you will only be able to run that script in 2.7.

You can also try manually editing the script and removing the Scriptversion
attribute.

Hi Debbie, I was actually on vacation when I was trying to figure that out and
just got back. I am not sure if I inadvertently clicked on the old icon or the
beta icon. I had gotten a number of errors besides the one I sent, but I tried
to open in the old TDA then in the new TDA and everything was back to normal.

One question, how do I manually edit the script? When I was getting the error,
the .tas file would not appear in the automation window and I do not know how I
would if it did.

Thanks,

Paul

Open your Automation file (*.tas) file in notepad and search for ScriptVersion=“0.0” and delete it. This will make the file compatible with TDA 2.6 again. See screenshot.
