Toad-SS-Beta fails, when the editor crashes the application.

I had been running the tops sql statement along with others and when I went to
remove the liter top(1000), the editor crashed the application.

The application created about 15 error message before I could get Task Manager
to kill the process. The attached support bundle could be the first one created
or the last one created, there is no way to know for sure.

This is another occurrence of the same problem I reported the other day, but
with more details.

Toad-SS 5.5.0.217 is not stable enough to be tested.

Hank,

I’m trying to reproduce this particular issue. Just want to ask you about
activities in the toad that were took place during this operation. How many
server connection was opened at that time? Did you have long running or
a-lot-of-data retrieving queries on others Editors?

It seems to me that this is some kind of memory issues… For sure this is
not correct behavior from the app J Just want to clarify for myself your
conditions if possible.

I’m able to get some exception errors during some kind of stress
activities in toad, but they are not so ridicules as on the screen below. And I
still able to continue my work after finishing stress load…

Thank you for the reporting and waiting an update from you.

regards,
