In my case I compare two scripts from local files and in View Differencies Window I make chamges in one of them and save the modified script. It
is saved in Unicode encoding not in oroginal one.
The original encoding is changed to Unicode always.

If the the scripts are opened from files, we open the files in View Differences window in their original encodings and use the same encodings as default to save them too.
If the contents are opened from database objects, we extract their DDLs to temp files and open the temp files into View Differences. Currently we always use Unicode encoding for the temp files here to support Unicode for sure. If users want to save the compare
results, they can select a propery encoding in the save file dialog. (This is implemented by PT53273959)
