How to use "aliases.txt"

Is there anybody knows how to use the “aliases.txt” file?

I follow all the indications in the help but it doesn’t work.

So you added a few aliases to the file and the editor doesn’t observe
them? Did you shut Toad down before you edited the file?

This a extract of my aliases.txt file in “C:\Documents and Settings\mbarboza\Datos de programa\Quest Software\Toad for Oracle\10.6\User Files”. This is the first 10 lines as a example because my file have 507 lines ¿is that a problem?
