Insert of a record with a CLOB field

Hi

When I insert a new record containing some char fields and one clob field, the clob field is always empty. I have to update the record a second time for the clob field.

When I create a new record, I put in all the fields, then open the clob with a double clic, paste my text, close and commit.

Clob is empty.

I re-read the record, update the clob, and commit : clob is OK.

If you don't find I'll be able to show with teamviewer.

Hi Martin,

Thanks for your feedback, the 64bit SQLNavigator is fine, i can reproduce this problem in 32bit SQLNavigator, and i have created a new story (SQLNAV-1888) for it.

Besides, As an alternative you can insert the CLOB record successfully in script.

Regards.
