A consideration for users who require certificates and the Wallet Manager function in Oracle Client 11g R2. - Received detailed instructions from in-house support team regarding installation of Oracle Client 11g R1 on a Windows 7 Enterprise desktop. Discovered that installing client via 'custom' did not install all of the necessary components. Also noted that fatal errors were logged in initial steps which can and should be ignored by checking the ignore all errors check box. After removing prior installs, installed using 'Administator' option and was able to then utilize the Wallet Manager and establish connections to databases.
