Is there a way to change the active script or package by using keys

#1

Hi there

(This is from Alex)

In former versions of the navigator all scripts or packages open in a separate window.
Now in version 6 all scripts or packages are open as a tab in the connection window (1).
All other connections are open in their own window (2). Ctrl+Tab work in version 6 too, but only for the connection windows.
Is there a way to change the active script or package by using keys?
Beside to the key-feature – why are the arrow buttons (3) disabled when more than one tab is shown?

Regards
Andre

I use the [F-6] key. I would say Right Click on the Tab and see if an option is available that suits you…

Hope this helps…

Hi Andre,

Dale is correct, you can use F6, Shift+F6 to move between tabs. Those arrows are a bit tricky. They’re not used to move between tabs but rather to move to a previous cursor position.

For example:
I’m writting some script that requires me to look at package TEST. I would type TEST onto the script and use Ctrl+Enter to open that package. Now if I want to go back to where I was before, I simply click the Back button.

As appealing as it may sounds, it still need to be improved a lot more.

Hope this helps,
Gwen
