Lingering Schemas

#1

Morning All,
Ref TOAD 10.0.0.41
We recently cloned an instance to a test environment and the schema names from the old (test) environment are still listed in my Oracle Users List. I’ve checked with co-workers, and non of them are experiencing this problem.

I feel certain that there is a file of ‘saved’ schemas, but I can’t locate it. I also remember a setting that list only schemas that ‘own’ objects. I can’t locate that either…

Has anyone come across this problem before?
How do I correct it?

Many Thanks,

Look in Options -> General to find where your “application data directory” is.
Then look there for the user files folder. It will have a file called
user name>_.lst. You can edit or delete.

Also - 10.0.0.41 - you should get the latest patch so you are on 10.1.1.8. It
has many bug fixes.

Go to Session > Oracle Users list

If you don’t get the message “All users already selected” then you may have customized this at one point which might be affecting the schemas you see in the SB.

The file which holds these lists are in user files (App data) and look like [SCHEMA]_[DATABASE].LST. Removing these might solve your problem.
