# Little issue when exporting BLOB fields

Hi all,

when I double click on a BLOB field in a data grid and then click on the "save to file and open" icon, I get a dialogue where I can enter a file name, the file type is already pre-defined e.g. as PDF. When the BLOB is stored into a file, the ending (PDF) is missing.

And to be diligent, the **Save to File** , and **Save to File and Open** tool bars within the BLOB viewing panel also have the same issue as reported here...
