I had to restore Toad for Oracle v9.7.2.5 on Vista x64 because of a corrupted task image, which btw, happens like every couple of months when I am trying to export data dumps into a tab delimited format.

Anyways, I have made a copy of my users folder as a backup and when I restarted Toad it created a new 1. I copied over the 2 files

- CONNECTIONS.ini
- CONNECTIONSPWDS.ini

and it restored my connections and passwords. But, I had a lot of settings for things like sort order on tables in the schema browser. Which file contains those settings so I can copy it over to my new Toad User folder?

Thanks,
Dave Hatz

Those are in directories named after the database. Open that directory, and
you’ll see directories named after the schemas. Grab ALL of that.

It’s usually the other way around. I’ll pretend not to notice.

FYI - Version 10.6 has import/export buttons on the connection window and SQL Recall window for backup/recovery of these 2 features (these are the 2 most requested recovery items)
