Currently, a test suite export is a deep export, ie a full copy of test definitions, unit tests and test cases is exported. This is problemetatic as the test definitions, unit tests and test cases are redundant as they’re also part of the test definition export. If they are only part of one test suite it’s somewhat managable but as a user you have to remember to export the test suite again when you change anything in the test definition, unit tests or test cases. Why? If you don’t and you re-import the test suite you will lose your changes. If the unit tests/test cases are part of more than one suite it turns into a nightmare.
I suggest that through a setting on the test suite export (potentially also a preference) it’s possible to instruct Code Tester to export a shallow copy instead of a deep copy. By shallow I mean that the export should refer to the test definition, unit tests and test cases through their GUID, not by including a copy of them.
Hope this is clear. If not, please ask for clarification.
