If a database in which to create test objects for standard benchmarks is not specified, the master database is used by default. When the test is run, it causes growth in the master database.
This is default SQL Server behavior as we just use the default database for the user that is specified in the profile when no database is specified in the profile. They can change the SQL Server settings to have a different default database if they don’t want to specify one in the BMF profile.
We have also added a change request to warn the user if the objects if the objects will be created in the master database.
