Memory leak while connecting to specific DB

#1

While I’m trying to connect to a specific DB the toad seems to have a memory leak since it starts to consume memory until it crashes.

I’m using other DB without issues.

If I connect to this specific DB using AseIsql, I don’t have any kind of issues.

Can you help me understand what could it be?

Thanks

Hello Diogo,

Could you provide a little more details? What windows are you using that makes it seem to consume large amounts of memory? Also, could you please send me the ExceptionTrace.log located in the Application Data Directory?

Thanks.

Hello,

I’m under windows 7.

Not able to provide you the log right now.

I will do it tomorrow as soon as possible.

It is something weird because I connect with toad to several DB’s but it is failing connection just with this one.

When connecting the memory consumed starts growing until it crashes.

As said with aseisql application I don’t have issues with this DB.

Seems something specific from this DB is not totally compatible with toad or some configuration is missing.

Thanks.
