Middle click on editor tab

Since I’ve rarely used Windows at all lately (actually, only in a VM for TOAD), this question might be in the wrong place.
I discovered by chance yesterday that the middle mouse button closes a tab in the editor.
Is this a common feature in Windows? Can this be configured in TOAD?

I forgot to mention that this also applies to connections. That happened to me there too, and I'd actually like to turn it off.

Yes, I think it is fairly common. It works also in Chrome. It is not configurable in Toad, but some mice are configurable. If you don't want to have a middle-click in your mouse, maybe that can be disabled from mouse software.

Well, I actually think it's pretty good, but I'd like to be able to disable the option to close a connection.
