Is there a way to indicate that a column with the same name is not recreated when setting up a relationship?
As soon as you create a relationship in TDM3, a copy of the primary key of the Parent table is automatically added to the Child table. This is how TDM3 works.
If a column of the same name already exists in the child table, you can use the Foreign Keys Mapping feature.
Please select Help | Manual | click the Index tab and type 'Foreign", select the ‘Foreign Keys’ item from the list. Appropriate topic will be displayed. An example on how to map keys is shown.
If you have any questions, please write me back. Thanks.
