Movement with arrow keys

#1

It would be nice if one could use the arrow keys for fine-grain movement of objects in a diagram.

Thanks.

Same with short-cuts like CTRL+HOME?

Hi,

Moving objects using arrow keys by pixels (and possibly resizing) is planned.

Same with short-cuts like CTRL+HOME?
I’m afraid, we’re not sure what you mean. Could you please write us what CTRL + Home should do? Should it move an object on the left side, or at the top left-hand corner of WS?
Or do you mean scrolling?

Thanks for more details.

We’re open to your suggestions on enhancements concerning this issue. Thanks for them.

Regards,

Vladka

Sure. Yes, you’d move to the upper left corner/grid of the currently selected workspace where entities reside. I’d expect the same type of behavior with CTRL+ and CTRL+END. Make sense?

Yes. Thanks for the details. I’ve added your suggestion to the
CR 33 580. Our developers will definitely take it into consideration while dealing with this task.

Thanks very much for your co-operation!

Have a nice day.
