nav 7.0 not reversing default values for columns.

column number(22,0) default 0 not null

That is what should be displayed when I reverse the table and that is what is displayed by nav 6.7

But not 7.0

I dont’ see anywhere in preferences in 7.0 that I should have set so I can see default values when I reverse a table.

Hi Henry,

My testing shows that 6.7 and 7.0 behave the same way.

This is what I get when I do extract ddl on my table in both 6.7&7.0

CREATE TABLE testexport
(no1 NUMBER(22,0) DEFAULT 0,
no2 NUMBER(,0) DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL,
no3 NUMBER(22,0) DEFAULT 0 NOT NULL,
no4 NUMBER(
,0) DEFAULT 5,
no5 FLOAT(22) DEFAULT 0)

However there is a preference you can change and in that case I get this in 7.0:
CREATE TABLE testexport
(no1 NUMBER(22,0),
no2 NUMBER(,0) NOT NULL,
no3 NUMBER(22,0) NOT NULL,
no4 NUMBER(
,0),
no5 FLOAT(22))

Please go to: View\Preferences, under Extract DDL node there is table\View specific
You need to ensure “Exclude Table column default values” is NOT ticked if you want to see the default values.

Note you can also change this value in the preference window that apopears when you select extract DDL for the table.
