New Tab Window? How does it work?

#1

I like this new tab, tab…but how is it supposed to work? I click on it and it
gives me a new window but now what? I cannot seem to do anything with it?

Wasn’t this list supposed to be filtered? So when I typed “@”, I would see the
entire list below, but when I typed the “@E”, it should only have one option to
select?

Here is another example. The list should only contain the three highlighted
items. Unless you do not want that by design?

Hi all,

I like the new feature, too. It lists options if you right-click on it.

But I think the default behavior on a left-click should be “open a new
editor”. Currently it just shows a big white area upon left-click, which
doesn’t make much sense. BTW, it should always stay behind (i.e. also on
right-click). Like in Firefox or Google Chrome.

This enhancement started as a part of some GUI enhancements for Toad for Data
Analysts. We plan to add several launch buttons as well as a recent file list.
It will look like this. There internal talk about whether to include for SQL
Server. What do you guys think?
