No Save Button / CTRL+S doesn't work for new queries?

#1

Not sure if this is specific to my machine or not, but after a day of creating a
bunch of queries in different editor tabs I decided to start saving some.

Pressed CTRL+S on an editor that had not been saved yet… nothing happened.

Went to the file menu:

There’s no save option – only a “Save All Files” option.
That option works, but I have a whole bunch of editor windows open, and I only
want to save 2 or 3 of them. Plus with that option, I don’t really know
which editors have what content, so it doesn’t really help:

I found that clicking “x” on the editor tab does prompt to save only
that tab, so that works as a work around for now… but after the tab has
been saved, the File Menu, Recent Files list isn’t updated, so I cannot
quickly re-open the editor window I just saved!

Strange.

I could also not get anything to save by either hitting the ctrl+s or by
trying to use the menu (I don’t even see an option to save only the current
tab in the File menu anymore).

THanks,

I have also had this problem once. I couldn’t regenerate it though.

Yep same problem. I seem to be able to save new queries any query that is opened
can’t be saved.

cheers

I just want to add that the issue reported by Darren in the ‘CTRL+F4
doesn’t close tabs?’ thread is most probably the same issue meaning it should
be resolved either.

Thanks,

Igor.
