number of columns limit in nav 6.7

#1

From the “yes this is pretty crazy to expect department”

Oracle’s hard limit of # of columns is 1000 columns. Oracle let me add them, didn’t hit bug in SSDEV but table is empty so that may be why it did not corrupt. SQLNAV cannot handle a select * at least not on my machine, I can still see the data but have to explicitly select a subset of the columns. **** SCRIPT STARTED Session: (1) 18-Apr-2013 17:02:33 select * from gpadmin.stage_split==>line 2: Out of memory-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SCRIPT ENDED 18-Apr-2013 17:02:33 ****^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
