Oracle Indexes Compute Statistics

#1

(BETA 3.4.10.2)

Hi

I’ve searched for this, but cannot find anything relating to this. When an Oracle script is created and it creates indexes, I can’t seem to find a place to add that I want the script to contain COMPUTE STATISTICS when creating indexes.

I need the following:

CREATE UNIQUE INDEX IDX_TEMP

ON TEMP(TMP1, TMP2)

COMPUTE STATISTICS TABLESPACE TEMP_TBS

but I get :

CREATE UNIQUE INDEX IDX_TEMP

ON TEMP(TMP1, TMP2)

TABLESPACE TEMP_TBS

Can anyone assist me with this one please?

Thank you in advance.

Hi Rudi,

Please write the text “COMPUTE STATISTICS” to the big text box below the Tablespace combo box that are on tab Physical Properties.

If you have any questions, please write us back. Thanks.

Hi Vladka

Typing it in the big edit box under the Physical Properties page adds the COMPUTE STATISTICS to the end of the Create Table statement, also adding it under the Index Properties page, it adds it underneath the Create Index Statement.

That’s ok though, just thought I’d bring it under your attention, currently we can just run a Replace All on the script to add that.

I’ll mark this is answered.

Thanks for all the help.

Rudi
