I have a pivot grid with two fields in the Data Area (summing quantity and dollar value) and each are sub-divided into 4 categories of product.
The totals for each calculation are being placed at the far right-end of each row, is there a way to move the total for each calculation to immediately follow each calculation?
Example: I want the grand total for the "Qty Ret Ref" to be next to it, then the "Dollars Ret Ref" columns, and the the grand total for the "Dollars Ret Ref".
Currently, Pivot Grid displays Grand Total columns at the far right side of the grid and there is no option to place each total immediately after its corresponding Data Area field.
As a possible workaround, you may want to explore the individual sums option depending on your reporting requirements.
If having Grand Total columns displayed directly next to each Data Area field would be valuable for your workflow, we encourage you to submit this as an enhancement request through the Toad World Idea Pond, where customers can suggest new features and vote on existing ideas.
The Channel groups are within another field (Key Year). The subtotal that I desire is actually on the years.
That's what my other pivot needs...a field that ties all of those groups together. I modified the query to add a "Subtotaler" field that is just a single space character. I also simplified the groupings to be just one field instead of having the additional sorting field. Adding the Subtotaler to the pivot fixed it for me.
