Program may have become unstable

Hi

The last days I got a few times this error :

This time, I just started SQL Nav, opened a script and closed it -> crash.

The error log contains a lot of lines with the same error :

v7.2.0 2015-01-26 08:22:34 Access violation at address 01D9E676 in module 'sqlnavigator.exe'. Read of address 000001C4

I'll send the support bundle files to Michael's mail.

Regards

Martin

Hi Martin,

Thanks for reporting the issue. Have you turned on EurekaLog option? Can you reproduce the same error on demand using the same script?

Thanks,

Vincent

Hi Vincent

Eurekalog is not turned on. Please tell me where I can enable this one.

Regards

Martin

Martin, please refer to the note below:

note[1]: EurekaLog helps development team to collect and analyze application crash information. When EurekaLog mode is enabled, users are prompted to view crash details if unexpected
error occurs. To enable the EurekaLog mode, please save the following script to .reg file and run it:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Dell\SQL Navigator]

“EUREKALOG”=dword:00000001

Please send me the sqlnavigator.el file from %APPDATA%\Dell\SQL Navigator 7.2.0 Beta\ folder after any error occurs. You are welcome to email me at vincent.liu@quest.com.

Thanks,

Vincent

Hi Vincent

File is on the way. I was able to reproduce the error directly after setting the eurekalog on.

Martin
