Query Optimiser

When I use the query optimiser I get an error whatever query i try and put into
it. Something about varchar(8000) being the max varchar value…

It is SQL Server 2000, right?

Can you give an example of a query that cause an error in the Optimizer?

No it was in SQL 2005.

I will try and find the query that I was using when I get a second.
