# remove button from connection bar

So the connection bar is a nice feature of the TOAD IDE and I know about the colors and to rearrange the order of the buttons. What I am interested in is removing a button for either a duplicate connection or a connection I am not using any more. I have yet to figure this out on my own.

Right-click the button of the connection that you want to close, then choose “end connection”

so there is a bug (unlikely) or something wrong with my current session (probably) because it is not ending connections properly.

It seems to work OK here. Are you receiving any error messages or does it appear to do nothing?
