With Color Schema enabled, drop down list of object type does not work.
Schema and Objects drop downs work just fine.
Color Scheme selected: Onyx Blue
Are you using 15.1.75? It works ok for me.
If you are on that version, does it work for a little while and then not work? If so, can you provide any more detail?

I just downloaded 15.1.111.1374
It appears that the drop down works now on Onyx Blue color schema. Thank you.
However, the minimize, restore and maximize icons appear to be just circles:
