Screencast as way of sharing the issue

Hello everyone.

Today I want to say Thanks to all of you for your help and participation in Toad
for SQL Server development.

One of our great funs Hank Freeman reminded me about one of the ways of
reporting the issue – screencast. Sometimes it is very important to see the
steps that caused the issue and one or two screenshot with the final state can
be too less for this.

I do remember that one our users from this community recorded his steps as video
and uploaded to a public server so we can download and investigate. You can do
the same with any free or commercial tools (I just googled and easily found a
bunch of such tools).

Windows 7 has built-in Problem Steps Recorder – see email below.

Thanks again to Hank for the reminder and waiting new suggestions/bug reports.

regards,

Alexander Maximov

Alexander !!! Thanks for taking up the idea of Microsoft Problem Step
Recorder…. It is one of Microsoft hidden utilities we should take full
advantage of…

However, I think it best to record a test session and publish a How to of what
we did so other will know how to use it to Quest’s needs.

I have the perfect subject, so Alex if you and I can do this maybe other will
jump on board right away…
