I’m sure I’ve seen something about this somewhere, but exhaustive searches have
not unearthed it, so apologies if this is asking the obvious or previously
stated…

I need to be able to set session information when opening a connection. A lot of
my work is in Oracle Financials, and without setting NLS\_LANGUAGE and the org\_id
using a SET\_POLICY\_CONTEXT statement, queries have a tendency to return nothing.
I can run a script in an editor window, but it seems to need to be run in every
editor tab to work for that tab, and this gets a bit tedious. However, not all
my work is on the Oracle Financials, so I don’t want to execute this on Toad
start-up.

Is there a way I can achieve this?

Thanks.

Ian

Ian,

What about modifying login.sql or glogin.sql?

Chris
