# Snippet missing code input box

Maybe I am doing this wrong, but I try to enter a new code snippet, there is no oracle code input box, only a name and description. (this is one feature I never used in 10 years of toad). How do i enter the code?

The name edit should probably be worded differently, but that's where you put your code. Look at other example like the date function for example. These are going to be short, one line function calls mainly. If you're looking to add larger code templates, see  
the Editor|Code Templates page in options.

thanks, i have been using Code Templates for ever, and I thought this was a nice way to do the same.
