When using Spotlight Mobile on an iPhone I sometimes place my iPhone in front of me as a method of displaying Spotlight dashboard as it shows when any alarm goes red. It would be useful to have an option to stop the screen lock from engaging. It would mean I do not need to have one monitor dedicated to displaying Spotlight dashboard all the time. Only when I want to drill down on an alarm. Thanks Graham Okely
Welcome to Toad World and thanks for submitting your feedback and requests.
We don't have an option to keep a mobile device unlocked when you're using Spotlight Mobile, however, you can configure alarm actions to send push notifications to an iPhone or other mobile devices. In this case you will be alerted and then you can quickly unlock your phone and drill down into the details. What do you think?
You can find more details here: https://doc.spotlightcloud.io/using-spotlight-mobile/alarms/mobile-alarm-notifications/.
Thanks Vincent, that is a good idea. I will try it.
I still think it would be nice to see all the green squares. As a positive reinforcement that all is well. Especially in these days.
I think you already know but I just would like to double check - we have our web based front end https://www.spotlightcloud.io/ which provides a better overview of Heatmap and other dashboards, and a better experience for everything at all. As long as you can launch a web browser, you can put it to a monitor or TV -- if you have spare ones at home .
Using a mobile device to pin a dashboard and monitor by eyes is not a common case we have considered. However, I do open an ER to track you request: SCMM-2404. We will let you know if we can get to it.
