You may try this:
Close Optimizer first
Rename this directory: (Example of Win 7 environment)
C:\Users<user name>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Quest SQL Optimizer for Oracle\8.8.0\Layout
- Restart Optimizer to check if the problem is resolved
Note that doing the above steps will reset all your current layout in UI.
If this doesn’t help, please contact Support to have a closer look of this problem. You may want to send them a Support Bundle to start with the investigation. To generate the Support Bundle, follow these steps:
Click Help | Support Bundle (This will create a new Support Bundle tab in the application)
Click to Plan Control to repeat the problem
After problem repeated, click to the Support Bundle tab to save the Support Bundle and contact Support.
