SQL Server Read Uncommitted Isolation Option?

#1

Hello!

Is there any option (or could one be added in a future version) to allow Read Uncommitted Isolation (like nolock) for SQL Servers?

Thanks!

Hi,

because SQL Server doesn’t support Isolation Level in connection string you have to set this option in transaction level. You have two option here:

  1. Before each execution you have to set Isolation manually on begin of your script.

  2. You can use our InitialSqlServer.sql file (you can find location of file in Option -> Database -> SQL Server - Run script on new connection ). In this file you can specify your isolation level and we will apply it for all transaction in your connection.

If you want to be able read uncommitted changes you have to set this parameter:
SET TRANSACTION ISOLATION LEVEL READ UNCOMMITTED
