Statement Terminator

Let me start off by saying I am digging the beta version of TOAD so far. It's only been a few shorts hours of using it,but I am liking the changes!

I ran into an issue and I am not sure how I can fix it. I thought I set it up correctly, but I guess not.

In my SQL scripts for DB2 z/OS I use a '#' sign as my statement terminator and ';' as a string delimiter. This seems to work fine in older versions of TOAD.

To make this work I usually go to Options --> Editor --> Application Code. Attached is a screen shot my settings.

This is the error message I get when I try to run a script:

6076.TOADError.jpeg

If i change the statement terminator to ';' it seems to work fine:

TOADSql.jpeg

Does this make sense what I am trying to do? I use the '#' since that is how it is set up on our mainframe.

Is there another location I should be changing this setting to make it work?

Thanks for your help again!

Hi Robert,

I think the option you are looking for is under Database group:

DB2StatementDelimiter.png

Hope it helps,

Hey Zdenek,

Thanks I think that did it!
