SyntaxEditor license expired for creating maint plans

#1

Howdy,

In .418, I’m trying to create a new Maintenance Plan. I can add the
“Execute T-SQL” task, but when I double click on the added task to edit it,
I get a popup from SyntaxEditor saying that it can’t find a current license.
Closing that, I get an exception from Toad:

System.ComponentModel.LicenseException
An instance of type ‘ActiproSoftware.SyntaxEditor.SyntaxEditor’ was being
created, and a valid license could not be granted for the type
‘ActiproSoftware.SyntaxEditor.SyntaxEditor’. Please, contact the
manufacturer of the component for more information.

Hi Rich,

This is because of old Maintenance Plan’s version in current TSS Beta. We
hope it should be fixed in some of nearest beta drops. We track this as CR81491.

Thanks for the reporting.
