In Windows Explorer, when I double click on a dbf file (of form .dbf), instead of opening the file in VFP, I get a message “.fxp is not an object file”. e.g. clicking on T_DCLNT.DBF, gives message “t_dclnt.fxp is not an object file”. Anyone else having this issue?
This is an IBM DB2 forum - so this post does not really belong here.
Anyway It seems a .dbf file originally used by dBase. I am guessing that Visual Fox Pro is installed and attempting to open the file and it appears correupted.
I would suggest posting this in a Visual Fox Pro forum to gain feedback from others familiar with such file.
