Teradata Syntax Highlighting

#1

In the past several betas (I’ve been lazy in reporting this), the syntax highlighting for Teradata .Net connections is atypical (notice FROM, WHERE and HAVING in the top image).

If I use an ODBC connection, the highlighting is more typical but lacks some of the special highlighting for functions like COUNT (bottom image).

Is there a way to change how Toad handles highlighting (i.e. specify reserved words, etc)? I couldn’t figure it out in the options menu beyond changing colors for general categories of words. Thanks.

I figured it out. I made a copy of the original XML file for backup purposes, and edited the original to include those words, and the words are highlighted now. I included my modified XML file in case anyone needs it.

Thank you for reporting it.
I checked out TDP 3.2 and these words are highlighted.
It looks like we use a wrong file for the beta.
