the process that brings up a windows trying to help you pick what you want has gone crazy. UIt is now not only slow, but seems to hang quite a bit.
for example : select * from smk. <- as I staft tp type it brings up a windw very late and I can not get rid of ti easily. It did not used to be so difficult to see or close this popup.
Can you spool SQL to screen while you launch it and send the output? There are more queries being executed now and they are not configurable in Options, but will be for GA. I suspect the extra queries are the hold up, but your spooled SQL will confirm.
