toad-Beta 5.5.0.811 - Doesn't show columname in the Columns tab for a View.

Alex !

Please validate this to be a problem or advise if this is a configuration issue.
IMHO, a view should show the column Name.

DetailView of a View doesn’t show the Column name. Not a problem if
viewing the Table …

Hi Hank,

Alexander, please correct me if I’m wrong but there shouldn’t be any
settings hiding column name for view. Btw, it works fine for me:

Hank, I don’t think it will help but try to delete everything from this
folder and see if it really doesn’t help. Close ToadSS before you do this:

C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for SQL
Server Beta 5.5\Context\TYPE

Thanks,

Igor.

Hank,

you may just incidentally drag&drop “column name” column out of the grid so the column disappeared from the grid. To have such column back you need to right click on grid’s caption and find item “Column Chooser”, once clicked you will get a window with columns taht are not in the grid view currently - drag the column from that window back to the grid and column will appear in grid.

Let me know if it helped you.
