Petr,
Can you tell me how you added your directory from a network drive?

For example:
Did you right-click within the Project manager and select add…‘Directory Links’ or ‘Directory Items’?

Thanks

hello Jeff,

in proj mgr, right-click on ‘my project’>add>directory (links), then choose a
folder from a network drive. after adding it, doubleclick it open, then click on
any file to open. any file type, any file.

regards,
Petr.

Petr,
When you add a network based directory-link in the Project Manager and then open that, we use a browser based form, which in turn uses your Internet Options | Security | Local intranet settings. You can modify those settings, (in Internet Explorer for example) to allow you to launch applications and you should not obtain the message you are seeing.

thank you Jeff for the clarification.

swissre is very strict with security, so we (users, even with administrative
privileges like myself) are not allowed to even see these settings.

regards,
Petr.
